Welcome To Bear River East (BRE) Baptist Church

Welcome to Bear River East Baptist Church. We are so glad to have you stopped by to visit with us. You and your family are always welcome at BRE Baptist Church. We are a small church at the present and in the process of growing in ministry. Some of the things you will notice about BRE Baptist church is that the dress code is causal. Following the service there is a time of fellowship around coffee, tea, juice, and snacks.
However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic we have had to change a few things. You are welcome to attend BRE Baptist Church. We follow the restrictions and rules laid down by the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
When entering the church you will need to answer some questions, sanitize your hands and an usher will take you to your seat You must also wear a mask during the worship service unless you have medical reasons you cannot do so.
Children may come to the service with their parents and we also provide Sunday School at the same time as church. The children need to register at the entrance to the church and then go upstairs to the Christian Ed Centre for Sunday school. Children are asked to wear their masks. Physical distancing is practiced as much as is possible.
The church is moving to a blended service with hymns and choruses. As we continue to grow we are hoping to introduce more contemporary music.
We do have a fellowship time after the service. Coffee, tea and juice are served and snacks are on each table. Masks are worn entering and exiting the Fellowship Room. Tables are positioned six feet from each other. No more than ten to a table. When leaving wear you mask and leave the table. The hosts for the day will collect the cups/glasses and napkins and do the clean up.
We invite you to join us on our Facebook & Group Page BRE Baptist Church.
